Deserted Inn on an Isolated Road

    • This was at one time, a rest stop area for people travelling through on the 137 kilometer isolated road (no houses or buildings, except for this one) running through Central New Brunswick (kind of a short cut & truckers mostly used it).
There was the building in the picture, which was a diner/convenience store, there used to be gas pumps in the front, and in the back there are still a couple of little cottages.
No I don’t think they are opening back-up anytime soon. I remember seeing ads in the newspaper looking for cooks & waitresses to work there, don’t think anyone wanted to. They also probably went out of business, since most people would use the Trans Canada Highway, even though it might take a little longer, but it is safer.
